Inkheart, by Cornelia Funke, is a children's book that really isn't just for children. Much like the Harry Potter series, the Inkheart Trilogy deals with themes that your average children's book doesn't. A very compelling read for really any age, with memorable characters, is based around the fact that certain people have the ability to read any thing out loud and what they read can come out of the book. The whole trilogy deals with the struggles of having characters and people being read in and out of books.

The prompt this week is to have your character accidentally read a character out of a book. How does the character react to being in a different world or time? Does your character try to read them back in? Does the character escape into the real world and start causing trouble?

Can't wait to read which story you choose and which poor character's world has to get turned upside down!

I really wanted to do this one, but I didn't have the time. Here's something I did really quickly.
